Prayerfully you had an amazing past week. We had viruses pass through our house like the plague. For some reason, the girls didn't get it. My husband and I kept passing it back and forth to each other like we were the only ones playing catch. We are slowly coming out of the funk, but hope to have it all gone by end of week.
The mini quilts are all done including the binding. My children were super happy to have them. I haven't bound a quilt in what seems like forever. It was no where near good, but this has always been my weakness. I have the technique down, but I can't seem to get an even binding. I guess, that to will come with practice, so I am not truly discouraged.
Did you get the reference, lol? Those who know me, knows that my lips belong to MAC Cosmetics. I didn't get a chance to finish the larger quilt that yet needs to be bound, but I am working on it this weekend. Before I start another quilt for myself, I want to give back. I decided to work on a couple of charity quilts for our church. These quilts will be made from start to finish by me. They will be throw size, simple and a will be quilted using a pantograph and again machine bound. Now to pick a pattern, any ideas?
