Hey Y'all!
I pray you all had a great week! Last week started off with a bang. Tafari's Lightening Stitch arrived and so did the P2 software update, woo hoo! I thought something had broken because when I was doing pebbles before, I felt what I call, "New Tension." I figured that because he is practical a new machine and that he would loosen up as I use him. Now, with LS, this baby moves are as light as a feather in comparison. I now must remember to move him slower when moving him side to side and back and forwards to adjust for this new smoothness. I played on Tafari a couple of times afterwards, I can't believe how much easier it is to move along and how my pebbles seemed to have improved. I have found a really comfortable speed to work with, so I turned up my Worship music and enjoyed the process. I am pleased! I was hoping to insert a video of me doing pebbles, but my camera board is too short and kept falling. So I'm looking to get another board or try to work this WISH app dupe to the go pro.
Well, needless to say, I was getting sick of doing pebbles on a practice sheet. I loaded up one of the mini quilt tops from a previous post and started doing pebbles on its' background. By the time I complete the pebbling on this 25 x 25 wall hanging, I will have pebbles licked!
Here is a pic of what I have done so far:
Cool, right? ๐ I kept hearing Angela Walters saying, "Finished is better than perfect!" Well, with that being said, let me get back to pebbling and possibly some ruler work on the actual letter.
Until then, I'm just a novice long arm quilter, striving for being consistently good!
