Fabric Haul

Hey Y'all!

I went on another fabric shopping spree online last weekend at Fat Quarter Shop.  These are the fabrics that I will be using for the charity quilts I mentioned last week.  I will be using the Jelly Roll Twist Pattern by Fat Quarter Shop for both quilts.  I'm keeping it nice and simple and hoping to gift them in December right before Christmas.

I also did a little shopping at one of our local sewing/quilt stores, Sewing Creations.  I have a flannel UFO that has been in my stash since 2004-2005 that needs to be completed.  It is a Christmas throw quilt that I would love to drape across our couch during this holiday season. This quilt will also be quilted with a nice and easy pantograph.  The problem with UFO's is that sometimes it's hard to find matching backing and binding fabric many of years later so I had to get close as I could.  This is the quilt top:

And this is the backing and binding fabric:

Tafari has been behaving quite beautifully.  No issues at all as far as tension or mechanics goes.  I look forward to playing with the Navigator P2 for the next several quilts.

Well, that's all I have for you this week.  Next week I hope to have at least one of the charity quilt tops completed and the Christmas quilt quilted.

Until then, I am a novice long arm quilter, striving to be consistently good! ✌🏾
