Hey Y'all! (In my southern accent, lol!)
I went on a huge (to meπ) online shopping spree at Fat Quarter Shop . I got enough fabric for one wall quilt and (3) mini quilts. I always try to shop at my (2) local quilt shops, but when I can't find what I'm looking for, I have to go elsewhere. π€·πΎ♀️ Because I am a project fabric buyer, I am really selective in what I shop for and will not settle because it's local.
For the wall hanging, I'm using Judit Hajdu pattern Carpenters' Star Christian Cross. It only required (4) different fabric choices. I decided to stick with neutral colors, so that it can stay up all year long regardless of the season. For the backing, I decided to use a newspaper like print fabric.
My fabric choices are:

For the (3) mini quilts, I'm using Kristys' of Quietplay.blogspot.com.au Craftsy pattern Geometric Uppercase Aphabet. I'm only doing the letters A, C and M for my kiddos initials. Again, I will be using the same newspaper print fabric for backing.
For the letter A, the fabric choices are:

For the letter M, the fabric choices are:

I will start on these quilts next week, because we are still working on the studio. We are almost done, can you say, "Wheeew wee!"
Until then ✌πΎ!
